A third-year BA History student at the London School of Economics, Avan is an Indonesian international student who specialises in the geopolitics of Southeast Asia and historical drivers of foreign policy.

​Besides reading and studying history, his hobbies including building LEGO (where he works part time), and partaking in MUN conferences across the United Kingdom.
