About the Role

  • As the site develops, we will be looking to take on a Social Media Officer to handle our Instagram and X accounts, eventually being expected to manage both the TikTok and Youtube pages.

  • You will work closely with the senior team, and will play a pivotal role as part of the GW family, as we expand.

  • All roles are unpaid, but will serve as great experience for any students or young professionals looking to flesh out their resumes

  • Demonstrably good English writing skills

  • Ideally past experience managing a social media account for individual use, a society or company.

  • Passion for geopolitics is ideal, but not essential.

  • Ability to summarise complex articles into easily digestible social media posts. 

  • Able to act independently to manage multiple social media platforms, working with the senior team to ensure the best practices are being employed to boost growth.

  • Time management is essential. You must be available to liaise with the senior team throughout the week.
