Zeynep Eğin

Desk Analyst - Sub-Saharan Africa

Zeynep Egin is an LSE student studying for an MSc in International Relations. She is the Community Engagement and Communications Lead for the Feminist Data and AI Literacy Campaign Project at UN Women UK. Zeynep is a researcher specialising in conflict and peacebuilding, with a keen focus on gender-based violence, grounded in her academic background in international relations.

 

She has hands-on experience from her time working in Uganda, where she played a key role in initiatives aimed at economically empowering women. Her research primarily explores conflict and peacebuilding in Africa, with a keen interest in understanding the cyclical nature of conflicts. Through her work, Zeynep aims to contribute to sustainable peace and promote gender equality.
