Francisco is a second year BSc. Politics and International Relations student at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His passion for geopolitics arose from having lived in Italy, Mozambique, UAE and most recently Zimbabwe, where he gained an appreciation about different political system and became interested in international politics.

During his time at the LSE, Francisco has served as Global Affairs Officer of the Political Risk and Investment Society, and in this role he deepened his understanding of the risk faced by financial markets, firms, and communities due to significant geopolitical events.

Francisco’s main interests at Global Weekly are covering the occurrences of consequential geopolitical events in East Asia and providing in-depth research and analysis within the East Asia Desk.
